About

The Lamb and the Throne was created from a desire to honor and glorify God with the talent He has entrusted to me. Every original piece in this collection is done by hand as an act of worship to Jesus Christ, who is the Lamb who was slain and the risen King who reigns forever. This work is not created for decoration alone, but as a testimony to the truth of the gospel revealed in Scripture.

The collection consists of seven pieces. In the Bible, the number seven represents completion and fulfillment. From the seven days of creation to the many patterns of completion throughout Scripture, seven reflects wholeness in God’s design. This series follows that biblical pattern and illustrates the fullness of the New Testament revelation of Christ, from promise to incarnation, from the cross to the resurrection, from the outpouring of the Spirit to His eternal kingship.

There is intentional symbolism throughout every work. By layered, I mean that what is seen visually often points to deeper biblical meaning. Many details are drawn directly from Scripture. To fully understand the imagery, one must know the Word of God. The symbolism is not hidden for mystery’s sake, but meant to encourage reflection on the gospel and the depth of Christ’s redemptive work.

It is my desire that any of these pieces placed in your home would not be mere decoration, but a constant reminder that God is present and faithful. Our faith is not built on comfort or ease. It is a faith of even if. Even if the path is difficult. Even if the answer is delayed. Even if the outcome is not what we hoped for. The Christian life is not promised to be easy, but Christ promises His presence. Whatever you are walking through, may these works remind you that Jesus is with those who believe in Him, trust in Him, and receive Him.

My prayer is that these pieces will strengthen believers, stir hearts to seek truth, and point all who see them to Jesus Christ.

I also want to take a moment to pray for each of you who visits this page. Wherever you are in life, may God guide you, strengthen you, and draw you closer to Him. I encourage you to pause for a moment and read the prayer our Lord taught us:

Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.

Amen.

All glory belongs to God.
